The 6600B’s rugged design allows the end user
to delimb single stems of hardwood / pine (up to 20”), or multiple
stems of juvenile pine, limited only by the loaders capacity. The
6600B has the largest throat opening in the industry (66”)
making an easy target for loader operators. Cycle times and production
will improve since loader operators will not have to work as hard
to place more stems into the delimber’s large throat opening.
Productivity is further enhanced with the 6600B’s three 8”
forward knives and two 8” reverse knives (a Riley exclusive)
that allow the operator to delimb trees in both directions. The
extra knife length allows the blade to severe the entire limb from
the tree versus cutting it halfway and ripping it off with a shorter
knife configuration. The reverse knives and the extra length will
improve cycle times and production while reducing stresses on the
loader.
