The 2800B Delimber was originally designed for
hardwood or single stem delimbing applications. This delimber features
a 28” throat opening with maximum log diameter of 20”.
Built tough to handle the roughest logging conditions, the 2800B
features three 10” forward and two 10” reverse knives
(a Riley Exclusive) that allow the operator to delimb trees in both
directions. The extra knife length allows the blade to severe the
entire limb from the tree versus cutting it halfway and ripping
it off with a shorter knife configuration. The reverse knives and
the extra length will improve cycle times and production while reducing
stresses on the loader.
